Biography

Elizabeth Elcoate Gilbert was once married to Edward Craven Walker, and starred in his films Travelling Light, Sunswept and Eves on Skis. She first got involved with nudism after being hired by a photographer for a shoot at Spielplatz. Elizabeth enjoyed the experience and ended up joining the club as a member. During the 1950s, she frequently appeared in nudist magazines like The Naturist and Health and Efficiency, usually working with Stephen Glass. At some point, Elizabeth had told her mother about her experiences at Spielplatz, encouraging her to give it a try as well.

After she split from Edward, Elizabeth opened up an aromatherapy massage business, and remained a nudist for the remainder of her life. In 1999, Elizabeth had wrote an article for H&E Naturist which discussed a lot about how she got involved with nudism as well as what it was like appearing in Craven Walker's films.
